Jamaica Device Security
Control Which Devices & IP Addresses Can Access Your Odoo System
Lock Down Your Odoo to Trusted Devices Only
Register approved devices, restrict access by IP address or CIDR range, and maintain a full audit log of every access attempt — all configurable per employee.
Device Registry
- Register devices with a unique token per employee
- Approve or revoke devices individually
- Track device name, type, and registration date
- Token expiry enforcement
- Revoked tokens rejected immediately
IP & Network Restrictions
- Whitelist specific IP addresses
- Allow entire subnets via CIDR notation (e.g. 192.168.1.0/24)
- Office network bypass — trusted IPs skip device check
- IP allowlist per employee or global
Access Logging
- Every access attempt logged with timestamp
- Result recorded: allowed, denied, bypassed
- Employee, device, and IP captured
- Log auto-truncated to keep storage manageable
- Full audit trail for security review
Flexible Controls
- Enable or disable device restriction globally
- Per-employee bypass option for trusted staff
- Configurable from Company Settings
- Works alongside Odoo's standard user permissions
How It Works
1. Register
Employee registers their device — a unique token is generated and stored.
2. Approve
Administrator approves the device in the registry. Revoke anytime.
3. Enforce
Every login is checked — only approved devices from allowed IPs gain access.
Part of the Jamaica Localization Suite
