Why Legion Reporting?
In standard Odoo, reporting menus are scattered across different modules — Sales reports are under the Sales app, Inventory reports are under the Inventory app, and Stock moves are buried inside the warehouse module, forcing managers to navigate through multiple apps just to get a complete business overview. This module solves that by creating a single dedicated Reporting app that aggregates Sales analysis, Inventory stock levels, Stock moves, and Product moves all under one unified menu accessible to the right users through proper security groups.

Legion Reporting.
legion_reporting creates a single dedicated Reporting app that consolidates Sales analysis, Inventory stock levels, Stock moves, and Product moves all under one unified menu, eliminating the need for managers to navigate through multiple Odoo modules just to access different reports.
Key Features:
- Unified Reporting Dashboard:A single dedicated Reporting app brings all business reports together in one place, eliminating the need for managers to navigate through multiple Odoo modules just to access different types of reports.
- Sales Analysis Report:Provides direct access to Odoo's built-in sales analysis with all orders, revenue, and salesperson performance data accessible from the centralized reporting menu without opening the Sales module.
- Inventory Stock Report: Gives stock managers instant access to current inventory levels and product quantities across all warehouse locations directly from the reporting app without navigating through the Inventory module.
- Stock Moves Tracking :Displays all stock movement history across the warehouse including incoming, outgoing, and internal transfers, helping managers track product flow and investigate inventory discrepancies quickly.
- Product Moves History: Shows detailed move line records per product, giving warehouse staff and managers a granular view of every inventory transaction including exact quantities, dates, and source documents.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this module replace existing Odoo reports?
No, only the website configuration menu is restricted — other website-related menus remain accessible based on standard Odoo permissions already assigned to the user.
Can non-sales users see the Sales Report menu?
Go to Settings → Users → select the user → assign them to the Website Module Access group and the configuration menu immediately becomes visible for that user.
What is the reporting.report model used for?
It serves as the base model for the dashboard action so the Reporting app has somewhere to open. Currently it only has a name field and can be extended with custom report links in future.
Does this work without Inventory module installed?
No — the inventory menus depend on stock module being installed. If stock is not installed the module will fail to load due to missing action references.
Can I add more reports to this module?
Yes — simply add more menuitem entries pointing to any existing Odoo action under the appropriate parent menu section.
