Navbar Systray Icon
A user-secret icon appears in the top navigation bar, visible only to Odoo Administrators. One click opens the Login As wizard instantly — no page reload required.
Group-Based User Filter
Select any Odoo security group to instantly filter the User dropdown to only its members. Helps administrators locate the right user quickly in large installations without scrolling through hundreds of users.
Auto-Fill Company & User Groups
Upon selecting a user, their primary Company, all accessible Companies (as tags), and full list of permission groups populate automatically — giving the admin complete visibility of the user's access profile before switching.

Login As Wizard
Click the 👤 icon in the top navbar to open the wizard. Select a Group to filter users, then pick a User — their Company, Companies, and permission groups auto-fill instantly. Click SWITCH TO USER to begin the session.
Group Filter in Action
Select any security group from the Group dropdown. The User dropdown instantly filters to show only members of that group — and the USER GROUPS table below shows only the selected group row for quick reference.
Return to Admin (Internal User)
When impersonating, the systray icon changes to a sign-out icon. Hovering over it displays "Return to Admin". Click it to instantly switch back to your original administrator session.
Return to Admin (Portal User)
Full support for Portal Users! A prominent yellow banner appears at the top of the portal UI only for the impersonating admin, providing a clear "RETURN TO ADMIN" link to exit the session even without the Internal User systray.
