Mandatory Training Matrix & Compliance builds a reusable training course library, attaches it to job positions, and tracks each employee's completion and certificate expiry automatically. A heat-map matrix and a role-based gap list show managers exactly where the organisation is exposed, while a daily cron warns managers before a mandatory certificate lapses.

Training Course Library
Maintain reusable courses with a category (safety, compliance, technical, onboarding, soft skill or other) and a validity period in months that governs when a completed course must be renewed.
Per-Job Training Requirements
Define, per job position, which courses are required and whether each is mandatory (a hard compliance requirement) or merely recommended.
Employee Training Records
Track each employee's completion date and certificate number per course; a record with no completion date is automatically classified as Missing.
Live Compliance Engine
A pure-python, unit-tested engine derives expiry date from completion date plus course validity, classifies each record as valid, expiring soon, expired or missing, and computes an organisation-wide compliance rate.
Heat-Map Matrix & Gap List
Colour-coded list and pivot views of employee by course let managers see exposure at a glance, plus a role-based gap list of the mandatory trainings any employee is missing, expired on, or about to expire.
Cert-Expiry Cron Alert
A daily scheduled action raises an activity for the employee's manager whenever a mandatory certificate is expiring soon or has expired, without repeating a fresh reminder every run.
Auditable Compliance Runs
Generate a point-in-time snapshot of the whole organisation's compliance rate, frozen at the run date even if the underlying training records are edited afterward.
Role-Based Access
HR managers get full configuration and reporting access, while every employee can see their own training status read-only from their employee record.
