What it does

This module turns your Odoo database into a secure, AI-ready data source. It exposes a controlled REST + XML-RPC API based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), so AI assistants like Claude can read and operate on your Odoo records—while you stay in full control of what is exposed.

• REST JSON API and XML-RPC API, both gated by MCP permissions
• Granular, per-model and per-operation (read / create / write / unlink) access control
• Secure authentication via Odoo API keys, with configurable rate limiting

How it works

1. Install this module and enable the models you want AI assistants to access.
2. Generate an Odoo API key for the user the AI assistant will use.
3. Point your MCP-compatible AI client at the module's REST/XML-RPC endpoints using that API key.
4. Claude can now query and manage your Odoo data, strictly within the permissions you configured.
