How it works
Set up a workspace, add documents, and share them in a few clicks.
- Create a workspace and, if you like, nest child folders under a parent to match your structure.
- Set the workspace to Restricted (members only) or Internal (all internal users), then add member users and allowed user groups.
- Add documents as uploaded files or external links, and give them tags, an owner and a related contact.
- Star the important ones, lock documents you want to freeze, and share internally with specific users or contacts.
- Create a public share link with an access token, add an optional password and an expiration date, then email it.
- Recipients download a single file or a zip of everything shared; a daily job deactivates links once they expire.
Note: Access is enforced by Odoo record rules. The three roles (Viewer, User, Administrator) combine with
per-workspace members and groups, so users only ever see the documents they are entitled to.
