POS Daily Summary Email
When a Point of Sale session is closed, this module automatically sends a formatted session summary straight to the manager recipients you choose. Total sales, a payment-method breakdown with cash differences highlighted, the top 10 products, plus discounts and refunds, all in one email. No logging in to dig through reports. Figures match the backend exactly, because it reuses Odoo’s own sales-details report. Configured per shop.
What This Module Does
Managers usually have to log in and open reports to see how each register did. This delivers the full picture to their inbox the moment a session closes, so the numbers come to them, not the other way round.
How it works
Turn it on per shop, choose the recipients, and let every session close take care of the rest.
- Install the module, then open Point of Sale > Configuration > Settings and select a shop.
- Enable “Send Session Summary Email” and choose the recipients who should receive that shop’s summary.
- Open and run a POS session as normal, taking orders, payments, discounts and refunds.
- When the session is closed, the formatted summary email is sent to those recipients automatically.
