POS Live Stock Visibility & Low-Stock Alerts
Put live on-hand quantities right on the POS product grid, colour-coded green, amber and red so cashiers know what is in stock without opening a popup. A built-in oversell guard can warn or block the sale when a storable product runs short.
What This Module Does
Standard POS hides availability behind an on-demand popup. This puts the number where your cashiers already look, then protects margins by catching oversells before the sale goes through.
How it works
A few toggles and you are live. Nothing changes about how you ring up a sale.
- Install the module, then open Point of Sale > Settings.
- Under Stock Visibility, toggle Show stock on product tiles and set your low-stock threshold.
- Choose the When out of stock policy: Allow, Warn, or Block.
- Open a POS session, and product tiles now show live on-hand quantities while the oversell guard runs as cashiers add items.
See It in Action
Stock badges on the grid, a live alert when an order goes over stock, the settings that control it, and a back-office low-stock list.
