Auto-Activity Scheduler Engine
Auto-schedule activities on any model - on create, write, or via cron.
by Majorbird — Odoo Silver Partner
The Problem
Auto-schedule activities on any model - on create, write, or via cron.
Automate your Odoo activity scheduling with zero custom development. Define rules once and let the engine create the right activities, on the right records, at the right time. Trigger types: On Create: schedule an activity whenever a new record is created On Write: schedule when a record is updated
What You Get
3 things that work from day one
01
Define rules for any Odoo model
Select the model, trigger event, and action parameters — no Python code required.
02
Multiple trigger types supported
Fire rules on record creation, field update, stage change, or scheduled cron — all configurable.
03
Upgrade-safe — zero core overrides
All logic lives in dedicated rule models. Standard Odoo methods are never patched.
Up and Running
Install once — works automatically
Step 1 — Install the engine
Install this module. No configuration needed — the engine is ready to use immediately.
Step 2 — Create your rules
Go to Settings > Technical > Rules. Create rules by selecting your model, trigger, and action.
Done — rules run automatically
Each active rule fires based on its trigger. Disable or re-enable rules anytime without uninstalling.
Good to Know
Scope & limitations
Engine provides the framework — install satellites for specific use cases
Rule evaluation happens at the Odoo ORM level — database triggers not supported
Domain filters use standard Odoo domain syntax — no custom Python expressions
