Freeze PO Prices
Lock unit prices on confirmed Purchase Orders â no more surprise price changes.
Odoo recalculates unit prices from the price list when you change quantities on a confirmed PO. You agreed on $10/unit with your vendor, change the quantity from 100 to 120, and suddenly the price jumps to $12/unit because of a price break rule.
This module freezes the unit price once the Purchase Order is confirmed. Price list rules only apply while the document is still a draft RFQ.
What This Module Does
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Price Freeze on Confirm | Unit prices are locked when the RFQ becomes a Purchase Order |
| Draft = Dynamic | Price list rules still apply normally while the document is in Draft status |
| Quantity Safe | Changing quantities on a confirmed PO no longer triggers price recalculation |
| No Configuration | Install and it works â no settings, no toggles |
Key Features
Automatic Price Lock
The moment an RFQ is confirmed into a Purchase Order, unit prices are frozen. No manual action needed.
Quantity Changes Are Safe
Adjust quantities on confirmed POs without worrying about price list recalculation changing your agreed prices.
Draft Prices Stay Dynamic
While still a draft RFQ, price list rules continue to work normally. The freeze only kicks in at confirmation.
Zero Configuration
No settings to configure. Install and it works immediately across all Purchase Orders.
Configuration
