When you’re out of office,
approvals shouldn’t stop.
Delegate your approval queue to a colleague for a date range. Every Time Off, Expense, Purchase, Invoice, Helpdesk, CRM or Project activity that would land on you is automatically routed to your delegate — audit-logged, chain-aware, loop-safe.
Out of office? Your approval queue isn’t.

Leave requests blocked. Purchase orders frozen. Expenses unapproved. The manager is on vacation, in a workshop, sick. Odoo doesn’t care — every activity still lands on the same single user. This module fixes that with one record: a delegation. Pick a colleague, pick dates, done. Every approval activity that would have hit your queue automatically flows to your delegate — with an audit trail you can prove later.
The classic case: Mitchell Admin is the leave manager. He goes on vacation and delegates to Sarah Mitchell. While he’s away, three employees submit Time Off requests.
Odoo would normally land all three on Admin’s queue and freeze them until he’s back. With Approval Delegation installed, every single one flows straight to Sarah — with a clear “Delegated approval” marker so she knows the context.

Notice the “Time Off Approval” rows — Ahmed’s Hajj pilgrimage, Fatima’s wedding, John’s honeymoon. All three would normally go to Admin. All three land on Sarah instead.

Sarah opens Ahmed’s Hajj request. The form is the standard Odoo Time Off form with Validate and Refuse buttons. On the right, the activity panel shows the auto-injected note: “Delegated approval — Originally for Mitchell Admin, routed to you via approval delegation.” — making it obvious why this request is in her queue and giving HR a perfect audit reference later.
