Fund accounting done right
Every donation is designated to a Fund — unrestricted, temporarily restricted, an endowment (Waqf), or board-designated. Each fund carries its own live balance: raised, spent and available, read straight from the ledger. No spreadsheets, no double-counting.

A real Zakat compliance engine
Zakat is kept in its own fund and can only be paid out to one of the eight eligible categories (الأصناف الثمانية) and to a verified eligible beneficiary. The rule is enforced in software — a non-compliant disbursement simply cannot be posted.

Donations that post real accounting
Zakat, Zakat al-Fitr, Sadaqah, Sadaqah Jariyah, Waqf, Kaffarah, Fidyah or general. Each gift posts one balanced journal entry (cash in, contribution income) with the fund tagged — donors are not customers, so there is no invoice and no tax.

Kafala sponsorship (كفالة)
Link a sponsor to an orphan or a family and set a monthly amount. Ata'a generates and posts the recurring gift automatically every month, tracks everything collected, and flags any charge that needs a human — it never fails silently.

Seasonal campaigns
Ramadan food baskets, Zakat al-Fitr, Qurbani, Eid clothing (Kiswah), winter aid, back-to-school and more. Set a goal and a unit cost and watch progress live — “32 of 200 baskets funded.”

Beneficiaries & aid distribution
A private beneficiary registry with national-ID de-duplication, vulnerability and family data, and a verify → approve workflow. Disburse cash or in-kind aid, always inside the fund's available balance.

Bilingual serial receipts
Every donation gets a serial-numbered receipt (سند قبض) in Arabic and English, with the “no goods or services provided” statement — ready to print or email.

Donor CRM on contacts
Donors live on Odoo contacts with lifetime giving, gift count and last-gift date. Flag donors, volunteers and members. Everything is one click from a donor's record.

Honest about what it is
Ata'a enforces the eight-categories rule as a management control in your system — it is not a religious ruling (fatwa) or an official certification, and it does not replace your Shariah advisor. Financial output is standard double-entry accounting on Odoo Community; reports are aligned to Gulf non-profit disclosure norms (e.g. the National Center for the Non-Profit Sector), not an official attestation. What you get is clean fund segregation, an enforced Zakat gate, and a full audit trail.
