Sign Up, Login & Reset Password with Your Mobile Number
By default, Odoo allows users to register using only their email address. This module upgrades the authentication system so users can sign up, log in, and reset their password using their mobile number alongside their email — giving your customers maximum flexibility.
The signup form includes a full country-code selector with flag icons, real-time validation, and duplicate-detection warnings. On login, users simply type their email or mobile number and odoo resolves the correct account automatically.

Key Features
Duplicate Mobile Blocked at Install
The module checks for duplicate mobile numbers among existing users before installation. If duplicates are found, installation is blocked with a clear error message showing which users are affected.
Auto Configuration on Install
Upon installation, the module automatically enables free sign up (B2C) in settings > general settings > customer account, so new visitors can self-register immediately without any manual configuration.
Country-Code Selector with Validation
The signup page features a searchable country-code dropdown with flag icons, directly fetched from Odoo's standard records. The sign up button is enabled only when a valid mobile number is entered alongside other required fields.
Duplicate Email & Mobile Warning
If the entered email address or mobile number already belongs to a registered user, a clear inline warning is displayed immediately — preventing registration errors before the form is submitted.
Login & Reset Password via Mobile
Users can log in using either their email or mobile number (including country code, e.g. +91...). The Reset Password page auto-fetches the registered email when a mobile number is entered, making account recovery effortless.
Safety Check Before Installation
The system won't allow the module to install if more than one user has the same mobile number. This ensures data integrity for secure mobile authentication.
Auto-Enable Free Sign Up
Go to settings > general settings > permissions. After installing the module, free sign up is automatically enabled under customer account so users can self-register immediately.
Mobile Signup Form
The sign up page includes a name, email, mobile number (with country-code selector), password and confirm password fields. The sign up button activates only when all fields are valid, ensuring clean data capture every time.
Real-time Duplicate Validation
To prevent redundant entries, the system performs instant validation. If the entered email or mobile number already exists, a clear warning alert is displayed to the user.
Seamless Profile Creation
Upon successful registration, the system automatically creates a user profile. All provided details, including the mobile number, are securely stored and mapped to the user record for immediate use.
Flexible Login Options
On the login page, users are no longer restricted to just email. They can effortlessly log in using either their registered email or mobile number.
Password Recovery via Mobile
If a user forgets their password, they can trigger a reset using their mobile number or email. The system will securely send a password reset link to their registered email address.
Outgoing Mail Server Setting
To enable password reset emails, you need to configure an Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) in Odoo. Navigate to Settings > Technical > Outgoing Mail Servers and create a new SMTP record. Enter your SMTP server address (e.g., smtp.gmail.com), set the SMTP port, choose the appropriate connection encryption (None, TLS, or SSL/TLS), and provide your username and password for authentication. Once configured, Odoo will use this server to send all outgoing emails including signup confirmations and password reset links.
