Model Restriction by IP Address
Protect your Odoo business data by allowing access only from trusted networks.
🚨 The Problem
Employees often access Odoo from home, public Wi-Fi, or unknown networks. This can expose sensitive information such as Accounting, HR records, customer data, and internal reports.
Standard Odoo access rights control who can access data — but not from where.
✅ The Solution
Model Restriction by IP Address allows you to decide exactly which Odoo models can be accessed and from which IP addresses.
If a user connects from an unauthorized network, access is automatically blocked and the user is redirected to the home screen.
