Overview

This module adds a standalone professional PDF report for Odoo Manufacturing Orders. It helps production managers, accountants, and management review material consumption, component cost, total material cost, and average material cost per finished unit in one clean report.

Main Features

How It Works

The module works directly with the standard Odoo Manufacturing workflow. Open a Manufacturing Order, use the Print menu, and generate the Production Cost Summary PDF.

Step 1 - Open Manufacturing Orders

Go to Manufacturing Orders and select the production order you want to analyze.

Step 2 - Review the Manufacturing Order

The report uses the production order product, quantities, bill of materials, and consumed component lines.

Step 3 - Print Production Cost Summary

Use the Print menu and select Production Cost Summary.

Step 4 - Professional PDF Output

The generated PDF provides a clean production summary, component cost analysis, total material cost, and cost per unit.

Cost Calculation

Component cost is taken from inventory valuation when available. If valuation is not available, the report uses consumed quantities converted to the component product costing unit of measure and multiplied by product cost.

The report displays the cost source so users can understand whether the value is based on inventory valuation or product cost.

Compatibility

Compatible with Odoo 19 Community, Odoo 19 Enterprise, Odoo Online (SaaS), Odoo.sh, and on-premise/private servers.

This module does not require external Python libraries and does not modify Manufacturing, Inventory, or Accounting logic.
