Overview

This module improves the standard Odoo report workflow by opening PDF reports in a preview dialog before printing or downloading. Users can review the generated report first, then print, download, or close the preview without unnecessary files.

How It Works

Install the module and print any standard Odoo PDF report. The PDF preview appears before the file is downloaded.

Step 1 - Open Any Record with a PDF Report

Open a document such as quotation, invoice, purchase order, picking, manufacturing order, or journal entry.

Step 2 - Click Print

Choose the PDF report from the standard Odoo Print menu.

Step 3 - Preview Before Print

Review the PDF in the preview window, then print, download, or close it.

Compatibility

Compatible with Odoo 19 Community, Odoo 19 Enterprise, Odoo Online, Odoo.sh, and on-premise/private servers.

This module does not require external Python libraries and does not modify business documents or accounting logic.
