Sale Order Total Quantity on PDF
Display total quantity and total amount directly on Odoo 19 Quotation and Sales Order PDF reports.
Overview
This module improves the standard Odoo Sales PDF report by adding a clear total quantity summary. It helps sales teams, warehouse teams, customers, and management quickly review the total ordered quantity without manually adding line quantities.
Main Features
Total Quantity in HeaderShows the total ordered quantity in the top information row of the PDF. |
Total Amount in HeaderDisplays the final sales order amount beside the sales order information. |
Bottom Total QuantityAdds Total Quantity below the standard total amount table. |
Clean Quantity FormatDisplays quantities with two decimals and thousands separator, such as 2,788.00. |
Smart CalculationExcludes section lines and note lines from the total quantity calculation. |
Safe Report InheritanceUses QWeb inheritance without replacing the full standard Odoo report. |
How It Works
The module works with the standard Odoo Sales workflow. Open a quotation or sales order, print the Quotation / Order PDF, and the Total Amount and Total Quantity will automatically appear in the generated report.
Step 1 - Open the Sales Order
Use the normal Sales Order / Quotation screen in Odoo.
Step 2 - Print Quotation / Order
Click Print and select Quotation / Order to generate the PDF report.
Step 3 - PDF Output with Total Quantity
The generated PDF displays Total Amount and Total Quantity clearly in the header and totals area.
Compatibility
Compatible with Odoo 19 Community, Odoo 19 Enterprise, Odoo.sh, and on-premise/private servers.
This module does not require external Python libraries and does not modify the Sales Order form view. It only enhances the Quotation / Sales Order PDF report.
