Planet Tax Free-Odoo Connector
Seamlessly integrate Odoo with Planet Tax Free, the global leader in VAT refund solutions. This module automates tax-free shopping processes by connecting your Odoo invoices and customer data directly with Planet's system, making tax refund processing faster, easier, and more reliable.

How It Works:
Create an Invoice in Odoo
Create a customer invoice in Odoo as usual for an eligible international buyer.
Apply for Tax Refund
Click the "Connect Tax Free Planet" button on the invoice form. The module sends invoice data (customer details, invoice lines, tax amounts, etc.) to the Planet Tax Free API.
Tag Number Assigned
Upon successful submission, Planet returns a Tag Number, which is stored on the invoice and printed on a newly formatted invoice layout.
Cancel Tax Refund (if needed)
If the refund needs to be canceled (e.g. order changes or customer cancellation), simply click the "Cancel Tax Refund" button to revoke the submission via Planet's API.
Custom Invoice Printout
A custom invoice printout is available, showing Planet Tax Free refund details, including the Tag Number â ready to hand over to the customer for VAT reclaim.
Setup Instructions:
1. Go to Settings -> Tax-Free Planet Integration
2. Enter your Planet Tax Free API credentials (API Key, Secret, etc.)
3. Go to Settings -> Users & Companies -> Users
2. Open any user record and under preferences
3. Set the Planet Tax Free -> Access
4. Save the record and refresh the page
5. Now you can see the Connect Tax Free Planet button on the invoice form view
