Overview
Integrates 3CX Phone System with Odoo using the official CRM Template mechanism. Incoming calls are automatically matched against contacts, all calls and chats are logged with full details, and missed calls create follow-up activities. A built-in template generator creates the XML configuration for 3CX in one click.
Caller Identification & Logging
Automatic contact lookup by phone number on incoming calls. Full call history on every contact with direction, duration and status. Missed calls automatically create follow-up activities to ensure no inquiry goes unanswered.
Click-to-Call
Dial directly from any phone field in Odoo. The call is placed through the 3CX Call Control API without leaving the Odoo interface. Requires 3CX Enterprise 8SC+ license.
CRM Template Generator
One-click wizard to generate the 3CX CRM Template XML file. Configure contact lookup, call journaling and chat logging, then download and import into your 3CX Management Console.
Browser Notifications
Real-time notifications for incoming calls across all browser tabs, displaying the caller's identity and providing quick access to their Odoo record.

MuK 3CX Connector
This module integrates 3CX Phone System with Odoo, providing a seamless connection between your PBX infrastructure and your business applications. It enables automatic caller identification, call and chat logging, missed call activity creation, click-to-call functionality, and browser notifications for incoming calls.
Installation
To install this module, you need to:
Download the module and add it to your Odoo addons folder. Afterward, log on to your Odoo server and go to the Apps menu. Trigger the debug mode and update the list by clicking on the "Update Apps List" link. Now install the module by clicking on the install button.
Upgrade
To upgrade this module, you need to:
Download the module and add it to your Odoo addons folder. Restart the server and log on to your Odoo server. Select the Apps menu and upgrade the module by clicking on the upgrade button.
Configuration
Configure the 3CX connection under Settings > 3CX. Enter the API key used to authenticate incoming 3CX webhook requests. Use the built-in CRM Template generator to create the XML configuration required by 3CX to communicate with Odoo.
For click-to-call functionality, additional 3CX Enterprise API credentials (Server URL, Client ID, Client Secret) must be configured. See the license requirements below.
Usage
Once configured, the module provides the following features:
- Caller Identification (any 3CX license)
- Incoming calls are automatically matched against Odoo contacts. The caller's name and company are resolved and displayed in real-time.
- Call & Chat Logging (any 3CX license)
- All inbound and outbound calls, as well as live chat interactions from 3CX, are logged directly on the corresponding Odoo contact or lead via the chatter.
- Missed Call Activities (any 3CX license)
- When a call is missed, the module automatically creates an activity on the matching contact record, ensuring follow-ups are never forgotten.
- Contact Search & Creation (any 3CX license)
- Contacts can be searched and created from within the 3CX client. Unknown callers are optionally auto-created in Odoo.
- CRM Template Generator (any 3CX license)
- The module includes a wizard to generate the 3CX CRM Template XML file. This template tells 3CX how to look up contacts and report calls back to Odoo.
- Browser Notifications (any 3CX license)
- Receive real-time browser notifications for incoming calls, displaying the caller's identity and providing quick access to their Odoo record.
- Click-to-Call (requires 3CX Enterprise 8SC+ license)
- Initiate calls directly from Odoo by clicking on phone number fields. The call is placed through the 3CX Call Control API. This feature requires a 3CX Enterprise license with at least 8 simultaneous calls (8SC) which provides access to the Call Control REST API.
