MuK List Custom
Customize List Views, Store and Share Favorites
MuK IT GmbH - www.mukit.at
Overview
This module gives every user full control over list view columns directly from the interface. Add new fields, remove columns, reorder them via drag-and-drop, rename headers, change widgets, set explicit widths, and toggle visibility or editability â all without developer access. Save your layouts as named favorites, share them with colleagues, and switch between configurations in one click. The customization extends to embedded one2many and many2many sub-lists inside form views.
Column Customization Dialog
Open any list view and click the optional-columns gear icon to find the "Customize Columns" entry. A dialog lets you add fields from the model, remove user-added columns, drag-and-drop columns into the desired order, rename headers inline, and configure widget, width, visibility, and editability per column.
Add Fields from the Model
Use the searchable autocomplete at the bottom of the dialog to add any field from the underlying model. Each suggestion shows the field label, technical name, and type so you can quickly find the right column to add.
Favorites
Save the current column configuration as a named favorite so you can restore it later with a single click. Optionally share favorites with all users so the whole team benefits from a well-tuned layout. Favorites are stored on the server and available across browsers and devices.
Reset Anytime
A dedicated "Reset Customization" option in the dropdown reverts the list view to its original column definition. No changes are permanent â experiment freely and roll back whenever needed.
Embedded List Support
The customization is not limited to top-level list views. One2many and many2many sub-lists embedded in form views can be customized independently, each with its own stored layout. This gives users fine-grained control over every table in the system.
