How it works — out of the box

Install & go

Install the module. Expiry status badges appear immediately on all contracts with end dates. No configuration required.

Check the dashboard

Go to Employees → Expiring Contracts for a live filtered view of all contracts sorted by urgency.

Receive alerts automatically

Every day the cron checks contracts and sends email alerts to all HR Managers at 90, 60, and 30 days before expiry.

Contract List Enhancements

  • Expiry status badge: Safe / Expiring Soon / Critical / Expired
  • Row color: orange for warning, red for critical/expired
  • “Days Left” column showing exact count
  • Columns are optional — shown by default, hideable

Email Alerts

  • 3 configurable alert days (default: 90 / 60 / 30)
