Customer Tier Auto-Tag
Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum — from real revenue.
Automatic on every customer · Editable thresholds · Colored badge & list decorations
Odoo 19 $24.99 · OPL-1 For Account Managers 9 LanguagesTags drift. Tiers don't.
Native Odoo lets you tag VIP customers manually, but the tag never reflects last quarter's revenue. Account managers stop maintaining it within weeks. Customer Tier Auto-Tag computes the tier from the cumulative total of posted customer invoices, so the badge is always honest.
Without this module
VIP tag set in 2024 by someone who left. Half the book is “new lead” even though they bought $40k last year. No filter, no badge, no signal.
With this module
Every partner shows a colored tier badge, computed from posted invoice totals. Filter the list by Platinum, group by tier, sort by Gold — all from one stored tier value on the customer.
What it does
First-touch customer. Has at least one posted invoice but is below the Silver threshold. Default Silver floor: $1,000.
Repeat customer. List rows go info-blue. The customer success team starts paying attention.
Strategic customer. Orange row, orange badge. Account manager owns the relationship.
Top-tier. Boldface row, purple badge. Reserved for the customers your business is built on.
Four number fields in the Invoicing settings. Saving re-tiers every customer automatically. No code change.
A posted credit note lowers the customer’s running total, so refunded customers drop a tier automatically.
How it works
Each customer record gains a stored tier value that Odoo keeps up to date for you.
The module adds up the customer’s posted invoices, subtracts any credit notes, and picks the highest tier the total qualifies for.
Thresholds live in the Invoicing settings. Saving there re-tiers every customer instantly.
See It In Action

Form badge. A colored tier badge appears under the customer name, computed live from the sum of posted customer invoices — Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum.

List view. A Tier column plus row decorations highlight Silver, Gold, and Platinum customers, so high-value accounts stand out at a glance and can be filtered or grouped.

Editable thresholds. Set the Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum cut-offs in settings; saving re-tiers every customer instantly with no code change.

Refund-aware. A posted credit note lowers the customer’s running total, so refunds subtract from cumulative revenue and a customer drops a tier automatically when their net spend falls.
Available in 9 Languages
Every field label, button and message ships fully translated. Each user sees the module in their own Odoo language setting — no extra setup.
Honest scope
Tiers are computed from posted customer invoices. Draft invoices, sales orders not yet invoiced, and vendor bills do not count toward a customer's tier.
The tier reflects total invoiced revenue to date, not the last 12 months. A long-standing customer who has gone quiet keeps their earned tier until you change the thresholds.
