Odoo's own component-availability check runs on every MO, but nobody emails you about it. Component shortages get noticed the day the line starts — too late to expedite. This module ships a daily heads-up so procurement has time to act.
Without this module
Open the MO list every morning, filter "Late", eyeball component status per card, hope nothing slipped through.
With this module
Daily cron emails the manager a digest of every upcoming MO whose components are not green. Configurable lookahead window, configurable recipient, dedup so it doesn't spam.
What you get
One scheduled action sweeps upcoming MOs and bundles every shortage into a single email per recipient.
Default 7 days. Settings → Manufacturing lets you push it to 14 or 30 if your lead times require.
When components arrive and availability flips to "available", the dedup flag silently resets — future shortages still fire alerts.
"Component Alerts Enabled" toggle silences a single MO without disabling the cron globally.

Lives inside standard Manufacturing — a per-MO toggle, search filters, a daily digest, and a one-click bulk send.
On the Manufacturing Order. A confirmed MO whose components show "Not Available" — exactly what the daily digest flags. A per-MO "Component Alerts Enabled" toggle silences a single order without touching the cron.
Configure once. Settings → Manufacturing sets the lookahead window in days and the digest recipient.
One-click send. Select MOs, Action → Send MO Component-Shortage Digest Now — the manager is emailed immediately.
The digest. One email per recipient, one row per upcoming MO whose components are not yet available.
Honest scope
The digest flags manufacturing orders whose components are not fully available. It does not run replenishment, create purchase orders, or reserve stock — it tells the right person to act, in time.
Shortage status is read from Odoo's native component-availability computation. The module surfaces and emails it on a schedule; it does not re-implement MRP availability logic.
