Set up in a few clear steps
1. Install the required package
Install the package listed in the module requirements file in the same Python environment used by Odoo.
2. Install the app
Open Apps, update the app list, search for NR Common Connector, and install it.
3. Odoo.sh and Odoo Online setup
No server file edits or environment variables are needed. Open Settings, Technical, System Parameters and add a parameter named nr_connector.secret_key with a long random value. It is stored safely in the database and keeps working across rebuilds.
4. Self-hosted setup
Self-hosted customers can use the same System Parameter, set a value in the Odoo server configuration, or let the module keep an automatic protected key file.
5. Create a connection profile
Open Connectors, create a connection profile, choose the company, and activate it when the related app is ready.
6. Review operations
Use the Operations menus to review activity, interruptions, customer-facing messages, and items that need manual attention.
