Active Session Manager

See Every Login. Terminate Any Session. Instantly.

Gives administrators a live dashboard of all active user sessions — who is logged in, from which IP, which browser, and when they last had activity. Force-logout any user with a single click, or clear all sessions at once in an emergency.

How It Works

Step 1 — Install the Module

Install Active Session Manager from the App Store or your local module list. A Session Manager menu appears automatically under Settings → Technical. No extra configuration required.


Step 2 — Sessions Tracked Automatically

Every authenticated user's browser silently sends a heartbeat every 30 seconds. This registers their IP address, browser, and last activity time in the session log without any noticeable performance impact.

Step 3 — Open the Dashboard

Go to Settings → Session Manager → Active Sessions. The live dashboard shows every active session in a sortable, filterable table. Your own session is highlighted with a You badge.


Step 4 — Force-Logout When Needed

Click the Logout button next to any session to terminate it instantly. The user is redirected to the login page on their next request. Use Logout All to clear all other sessions in one action.
