NZ Solutions Apps for Odoo
CRM Multi Company Stages — Odoo 19
Enable each company to define and manage its own CRM pipeline stages independently. Shared stages remain available when no company is specified, while company-specific stages appear only for the selected companies. Perfect for multi-company environments.
What does this module provide?
This module enhances the Odoo 19 CRM module by introducing company-specific pipeline stages. Each company can define and manage its own stages independently, while shared stages remain available when no company is specified. The module adds a Companies field to CRM stages, allowing you to select which companies can access each stage. If the field is empty, the stage appears for all companies. Perfect for multi-company environments where each company needs its own sales pipeline.
KEY HIGHLIGHTS
Company-Specific Stages
Each company can have its own unique CRM stages. Stages can be restricted to specific companies or shared across all companies.
Multi-Company Support
Perfect for organizations with multiple companies or branches, each needing their own sales pipeline stages.
Companies Field
A new Companies field on CRM stages allows you to select which companies can access each stage. Leave empty for global stages.
Flexible Stage Management
Manage stages centrally while controlling visibility per company. Shared stages appear for all companies when no specific companies are selected.
Automatic Filtering
When viewing CRM records, only stages relevant to the current company are displayed, providing a clean and focused user experience.
Seamless Integration
Integrates seamlessly with Odoo's existing CRM functionality. No changes to core workflows, just enhanced company-specific stage management.
1) Default Behavior - All Companies Show Same Stages
By default in Odoo, all companies see the same CRM stages. This screenshot shows the standard behavior where the same pipeline stages appear for all companies without any company-specific customization.

2) Confirming Default Behavior in Different Company
When switching to a different company, you can confirm that the same stages appear without any changes. This demonstrates the standard Odoo behavior before applying company-specific stage configuration.

3) Accessing Stage Configuration
To customize stages per company, navigate to CRM > Configuration > Stages. This is where you can define and manage all CRM pipeline stages for your organization.

4) The Companies Field - Key Feature
The module adds a new Companies field to CRM stages. This field determines which companies can access the stage. If left empty, the stage appears for all companies. If you select one or more companies, the stage will only appear for those selected companies.

5) Stage Configuration with Selected Companies
After saving a stage with specific companies selected, the list view shows which companies each stage is assigned to. This provides clear visibility of stage-company relationships for administrators.

6) First Company - Filtered Stages
When viewing CRM records for the first company, only stages that are either assigned to this company or shared stages (with no companies specified) will appear in the pipeline.

7) Company with Custom Stages - Verification
When accessing the company that has custom stages assigned to it, you can verify that the specific stages appear correctly in the pipeline, confirming that the company-specific stage assignment is working.

8) All Stages Customized for Companies
This screenshot demonstrates a scenario where all stages have been customized and assigned to specific companies. Each stage now has its own company assignments, providing complete control over stage visibility.

9) Company-Specific Stage Visibility
When selecting the first company, only the stages specifically assigned to that company (plus any shared stages) will appear in the pipeline. The following screenshots demonstrate this company-specific filtering in action.

How do I assign stages to specific companies?
Go to CRM > Configuration > Stages, select a stage, and use the new Companies field to select which companies can access this stage. Leave it empty for the stage to appear for all companies.
What happens if I don't select any companies for a stage?
If the Companies field is empty, the stage will be available to all companies. This maintains backward compatibility with existing stages.
Can a stage belong to multiple companies?
Yes, you can select multiple companies for a single stage. The stage will then appear in the CRM pipeline for all selected companies.
How do users see the company-specific stages?
When a user accesses the CRM module, they will only see stages that are either assigned to their current company or shared stages (with no companies specified).
Can I have different stage names for different companies?
Yes, you can create stages with the same purpose but different names for different companies, or share the same stage names across multiple companies.
Does this affect existing stages?
No, existing stages will continue to work as before. They will appear for all companies since their Companies field will be empty by default.
Which Odoo editions and deployment modes are supported?
The module is compatible with Odoo 19 Community and Enterprise on On-Premise, Odoo Online, and Odoo.sh. It depends only on the CRM module.
