Track All Fields — Odoo 19
Enable field tracking for all fields in any model with a single toggle. Track All Fields automatically logs every field change in the Chatter, giving you complete transparency and easy auditing across your Odoo records.
What does this module provide?
Track All Fields is a simple yet powerful app for Odoo that automatically enables field tracking for all fields in any model with just a single toggle. Open Settings → Technical → Models, enable the Track All Fields option on the model you need, and every field change is logged in the Chatter panel. The option also covers custom fields added after tracking is enabled, ensuring complete transparency and ease of auditing.
KEY HIGHLIGHTS
One-Click Tracking Toggle
Enable field tracking for all fields in any model with a single Boolean switch — no code changes required.
Simple Model Configuration
Configure tracking directly on the model form under Settings → Technical → Models with a clear Track All Fields option.
Chatter Change Logs
Every tracked field update is logged automatically in the Chatter panel, making audits and history reviews effortless.
Works on Any Model
Apply full field tracking to Sales Orders, Partners, custom models, and any other model that uses mail tracking.
Supports New Custom Fields
Custom fields created after enabling Track All Fields are included automatically — no need to reconfigure.
Full Audit Transparency
Know who changed what and when across every field, improving compliance, accountability, and team visibility.
1) Example Field Without Tracking
Open a record and look at a field that does not have tracking enabled — for example Payment Terms on a Sales Order. By default, changes to this field are not logged in the Chatter.

2) Change the Field — No Chatter Log
Update the field value and save. Notice that no tracking message appears in the Chatter — the change is applied, but the history stays silent because tracking is not enabled yet.

3) Enable Track All Fields on the Model
Go to Settings → Technical → Models, open the related model, and turn on the Track All Fields option. This single toggle enables tracking for all fields in that model.

4) Field Changes Now Appear in Chatter
Change the same field again after enabling the option. The update is now tracked automatically and the before/after values appear clearly in the Chatter history.

Where do I enable Track All Fields?
Go to Settings → Technical → Models, open the model you want to track, and enable the Track All Fields option.
What happens after I enable the option?
All fields on that model become tracked. Any later change to those fields is logged automatically in the Chatter panel.
Does this work with custom fields?
Yes. Custom fields added after enabling Track All Fields are included automatically — you do not need to re-enable the option.
Can I use it on any model?
You can enable it on models that support mail tracking (mail.thread). Once enabled, field changes appear in the record Chatter.
Will existing untracked fields start logging changes?
Yes. After enabling Track All Fields, previously untracked fields begin logging changes in the Chatter from that point forward.
Is any technical configuration required?
No coding is required. Install the module, then enable the toggle on each model you want to fully track.
Which Odoo editions are supported?
Compatible with Odoo 19 Community and Enterprise. The module depends on mail and works on On-Premise, Odoo Online, and Odoo.sh.
