What does this module provide?
This module enables a dedicated Warehouse Kiosk mode for Odoo 19 that allows warehouse staff to quickly locate products and check stock levels by scanning barcodes. The kiosk can be accessed via a public link without requiring Odoo user login, making it ideal for warehouse operations on shared devices. Each warehouse can have its own kiosk enabled with a unique access key and public URL. The system displays detailed stock information including quantities by location and lot/serial number breakdown.

1) Access Warehouse Configuration
Navigate to Inventory > Configuration > Warehouses to access the warehouse management interface where you can enable the kiosk feature.
2) Enable Warehouse Kiosk
In the Warehouses form view, enable the Warehouse Kiosk option and click Open Warehouse Kiosk to launch the dedicated kiosk interface for this warehouse.
3) Warehouse Kiosk Interface
The kiosk interface appears ready for barcode scanning. You can scan a product barcode directly or click Scan Product Barcode to open the device camera for scanning.
4) Product Stock Information
After scanning a product barcode, the system displays comprehensive stock information including total quantities, available stock by location, and detailed breakdown by lot/serial numbers.
5) Product Details from Inventory
The same product information can be accessed from within the Inventory application, showing the previously scanned product with its complete stock breakdown and location details.
How do I enable the Warehouse Kiosk?
Go to Inventory > Configuration > Warehouses, open the warehouse form, and enable the Warehouse Kiosk option. A unique kiosk key and public URL will be generated automatically.
Can I access the kiosk without logging into Odoo?
Yes. Each warehouse kiosk has a public URL that can be accessed without Odoo user authentication. This is perfect for shared warehouse devices.
What barcode sources are supported?
The kiosk supports scanning barcodes using the device camera (when available) or connected barcode scanners. You can also manually enter barcodes if needed.
What information is displayed after scanning a barcode?
After scanning, the system displays the product name, image (if available), total stock quantities, available stock by location, and a detailed breakdown by lot/serial numbers.
Can I have multiple warehouse kiosks?
Yes. Each warehouse can have its own independent kiosk with unique access credentials and public URL. Enable the kiosk feature for each warehouse individually.
Does this work on mobile devices?
Yes. The kiosk interface is fully responsive and optimized for mobile devices, tablets, and desktop browsers. Camera scanning works on mobile devices that support camera access.
Is any configuration required?
Minimal configuration is required. Simply enable the kiosk feature for each warehouse you want to provide access to. The system automatically generates access keys and URLs.
Which Odoo editions are supported?
Compatible with Odoo 19 Community and Enterprise. The module integrates with the standard Inventory module and requires no additional dependencies.
