📝 Add Notes to a Lot or Serial Number
Go to Inventory › Products › Lots/Serial Numbers. Open any lot or serial number record. Find the Internal Note field and add quality comments, handling instructions, or supplier remarks.
👁️ Notes Visible During Picking
When warehouse staff process a stock move or picking operation for this lot, the internal note is displayed — reminding them of any special handling requirements or quality concerns.
📋 Quality Comment History
Notes are timestamped and logged in the chatter. Multiple notes can be added over time — creating a quality history for each lot, useful for traceability and customer complaints.
🔍 Search by Note Content
Use the search bar in the Lots/Serial Numbers list to find lots with specific notes — quickly locate all batches with a particular quality flag or supplier comment.
