Short Description
Enables defining a dedicated analytic distribution per salary adjustment, ensuring that bonuses and deductions are accounted for individually per employee
Solution Overview
In standard Odoo payroll, bonuses and penalties are usually posted using the analytic distribution defined on the Salary Rule. As a result, payroll adjustments for all employees are often accumulated on the same analytic accounts, even when management accounting requires employee-specific cost allocation.
This module solves this limitation by allowing an analytic distribution to be defined directly on each Salary Adjustment. During payslip posting, the system applies a clear priority logic for analytics, ensuring that employee-specific bonuses or deductions are posted to the correct analytic accounts, independently from the general analytics defined on the salary rule.
Key Features
- Adds an Analytic Distribution field to Salary Adjustment records
- Enables defining employee-specific analytics for bonuses and penalties
- Applies the highest priority to the analytic distribution from Salary Adjustment during payslip posting
- Falls back to the analytic distribution from the Salary Rule only if Salary Adjustment analytics are not defined
- Applies analytics only to journal items with Expense and Current Assets account types.
- Keeps historical payroll and accounting data unchanged
