Provides an Inventory Trial Balance report based on accounting entries, showing inventory movements and balances by account and product for any selected period.
Solution Overview
This module introduces an Inventory Trial Balance report as a separate accounting report focused on inventory accounting. It allows accountants and financial controllers to monitor stock movements and balances in the general ledger, using the accounting date as the primary reference.
The report follows the classic trial balance logic, where the closing balance equals opening balance plus incoming movements minus outgoing movements. It consolidates quantitative and value data for inventory across stock accounts and products, helping to verify that warehouse operations are correctly reflected in accounting.
By separating the report into its own module, it becomes easier to maintain, extend, and manage independently from other financial reports.
