WHAT IT DOES

Two powerful totals on every Purchase Order

This module adds a summary section at the bottom of every Purchase Order and RFQ showing the total number of distinct products and the total combined quantity ordered. Both appear in the Odoo form view and on the printed PDF. Access is controlled by a dedicated user group right.

TOTAL PRODUCTS

Product Count

Shows the number of distinct product lines on the purchase order. Example: 3 products = Total Products: 3.

TOTAL QUANTITIES

Combined Qty

Shows the sum of all quantities. Example: 9 lamps + 3 chairs + 4 sofas = Total Quantities: 16.

GROUP RIGHT

Access Controlled

Only users with "Show Products and Quantity on Purchase Order" extra right enabled can see these totals.

PO + RFQ

Works on PO and RFQ

Totals visible on both Requests for Quotation and confirmed Purchase Orders. Available from the very first draft stage.

PDF REPORT

Printed on PDF

Totals are also printed on the Purchase Order PDF report â useful when sharing RFQs or POs with vendors.

ZERO CONFIG

Install & Assign Group

Install the module, assign the group to required users, and totals appear immediately. No other setup required.

STEP 1 — USER PERMISSION

Assign the group to required users

Go to Settings → Users & Companies → Users. Open the user, scroll to Extra Rights section, and enable "Show Products and Quantity on Purchase Order". The highlighted checkbox is shown below.

STEP 2 — PURCHASE ORDER VIEW

Totals shown on the Purchase Order form

Open any Purchase Order or RFQ. A summary box at the bottom-left shows Total Products and Total Quantities. The box updates automatically when lines are changed. Highlighted in red in the screenshot.

STEP 3 — PDF REPORT

Totals printed on the Purchase Order PDF

Print or send the Purchase Order. The PDF report includes Total Products and Total Quantity at the bottom â giving vendors and procurement teams a clear quantity summary without manual calculation.

SUMMARY

Get started in 3 steps

1	Install the module Search Odoo Circle Purchase Quantity in Apps and install it.

2	Assign the group right Settings → Users, open the user → Extra Rights → enable "Show Products and Quantity on Purchase Order".

3	Open any Purchase Order or RFQ See Total Products and Total Quantities in the summary box. Print the PO to see them on the PDF too.
