Ochre Textile Manufacturing
A domain engine for silk and fabric mills on Odoo 19 — coded article masters, process-flow routing, colour and dye lab, warp construction, and an order-network engine that turns a sales order into a live production plan.
Model yarn, greige and finished articles with a data-driven code engine; route each article through its process flow; explode a confirmed order into a typed production network of weaving, warping, dyeing and finishing; schedule looms on a load board; and print a full pack of branded mill documents. It leans on native Odoo Sales, Purchase, Inventory and Accounting rather than replacing them.

![]() A production order with its visual process chain, order-network tab and per-operation progress.
|
Every article, coded and decoded
Dedicated Yarn, Greige, Finished and Non-Textile article types, added as a Textile tab on the product form — each with a data-driven code engine that decodes any article code segment by segment (yarn kind, material, characteristic, ply, count, twist and more), configurable without programming.
|
✓ Yarn: grey or dyed, material, composition, count & count system, ply, twist direction & TPM, make-up, colour
✓ Greige: width, weight, warp & weft thread counts, reed width & gauge, weave, standard piece length & weight, made-to-order and yarn-dyed flags
✓ Finished: base greige, finish code, colourway and design
|
✓ Code engine decodes each segment and is configurable with no programming
✓ Multi-source yarn supply variants (purchase, external, internal) with suppliers
✓ Warp beam bill of materials per greige
|
![]() Yarn master. A coded article on the standard product form, with a dedicated Textile tab.
|
The reference data a mill runs on
Materials & fibres Fibre and material masters plus count systems. |
Order & position types Typed orders and positions, and machine types. |
Machines & looms A machine and loom register, with looms flagged for scheduling. |
Process flows & steps The routing objects that every article and production order is built on — defined once, reused everywhere. |
||
A colour board that shows the shade
A colour palette board grouped by family, each card showing the true shade — and colour swatches carried through onto lists, forms and dye recipes.
![]() Colour board. Each card renders its true shade; the same swatch appears wherever the colour is used.
|
Routing you can see
Every process flow is drawn as a connected step chain, with the machine shown on each operation — over an editable underlying step list.
![]() Process flow. The step chain with a machine per operation, backed by an editable step list.
|
One sales order becomes a production network
A confirmed sales order explodes into its typed production network — finishing, weaving, warping and yarn dyeing — each order linked to the one it feeds.
|
✓ Production orders typed by stage, bound to their process flow, with parent and child network links and allocation figures
✓ Operation-by-operation order progress tracking
|
✓ A visual network chain on the sales order and every production order, coloured by status
✓ A visual progress chain that turns green as steps complete
|
![]() Progress chain. Each operation tracked with its target, and the chain turning green as steps are marked done.
|
Plan the floor, load the looms
Production board A drag-and-drop kanban pipeline by status. |
Loom load board A Gantt you drag to reschedule and reassign looms — with a calendar fallback on Community. |
Materials & picking Materials and picking lines on every production order. |
![]() Loom load. Weave orders scheduled across looms by day — drag to reschedule and reassign.
