Smart Access Pro by Odonity transforms the standard Odoo signup experience into a fully controlled, secure, and intelligent access gateway. Five enterprise-grade features are packaged into a single, clean, easy-to-install module.
Overview
Most businesses need more than a basic signup form. They need to verify that users are real, control who can register, block disposable emails, automate onboarding tasks, and track every signup event for compliance and reporting.
Smart Access Pro solves all of these challenges in one module without requiring complex configuration or technical setup.
Key Features
- 📧 OTP Email Verification — Send a one-time password before any account is created. Configure digit length (4–8), expiry time (1–60 minutes), and resend cooldown to prevent spam. Features a beautiful digit-box OTP input UI with live countdown timers.
- 🎟️ Invite-Only Signup — Generate unique, trackable invite links directly from the backend. Set expiry dates, usage limits (single or multi-use), and auto-assign portal groups. Send invites by email with a personal message directly from the invite record.
- 🛡️ Signup Rules Engine — Control which email domains can register. Run in block mode (block specific domains), allow-only mode (restrict to approved domains), or enable automatic blocking of disposable and temporary email services.
- 🤖 Auto-Onboarding — Automatically assign new users to a company, send a welcome email, and trigger a webhook to external systems (CRM, Zapier, Make) on every successful signup.
- 📊 Analytics Dashboard — Track signups over time, OTP verification rates, invite performance, and blocked attempts in a built-in graph and pivot dashboard.
Installation
- Copy the odnt_smart_access folder into your Odoo custom addons directory.
- Restart the Odoo server.
- Enable Developer Mode from Settings → General Settings → Developer Tools.
- Go to Apps, click "Update App List", then search for Smart Access Pro.
- Click Install.
Configuration
After installation, go to Settings → Smart Access Pro to configure:
- Enable or disable OTP verification
- Set OTP digit length, expiry time, and resend cooldown
- Enable invite-only signup mode
- Configure auto-onboarding: welcome email, default company, and webhook URL
Managing Invite Links
- Navigate to Smart Access → Invite Links.
- Click New to create an invite link.
- Set label, usage mode (single/multi), expiry, and optional auto-assign group.
- Use the Send by Email button to open the invite wizard and send the link to any email address with a personal message.
- Copy the invite URL manually if needed using the Copy Link button.
