This Odoo Sales extension by Odonity gives B2B distributors, wholesalers, and sales teams a professional, wizard-driven interface to split any Sales Order into multiple linked orders — in seconds, with full traceability.
Overview
Sales teams managing B2B accounts constantly deal with scenarios where one order must be fulfilled across multiple deliveries, addresses, or timelines. Native Odoo provides no built-in way to split a Sales Order cleanly.
Sales Order Split Pro solves this completely. Three smart split modes, partial quantity support, parent-child order linking, and full chatter logging make this the most capable split app available on the Odoo App Store.

Split Modes Explained
By Selected Lines
Open the wizard, tick the lines you want to split, set the quantity per line (supports partial), and click Split Now. Selected lines (or partial quantities) move to a new Sales Order. Remaining quantities stay on the original.
By Delivery Address
Set the "Line Delivery Addr." field on individual order lines (visible in the order line table). The wizard auto-groups lines by address and creates one new child order per unique address. Lines with no address stay on the original order.
By Delivery Date
Set the "Line Delivery Date" field on individual order lines. The wizard auto-groups lines by date and creates one new child order per unique date. Lines without a date stay on the original order.
Installation
- Copy this module into your Odoo custom addons directory.
- Restart the Odoo server.
- Activate Developer Mode (Settings → Developer Tools).
- Go to Apps → Update Apps List.
- Search for Sales Order Split Pro and install.
- Add users to the Sales Order Split Pro: Can Split Orders group via Settings → Users.
Usage
- Open any Sales Order (Draft or Confirmed).
- Click the "🔀 Split Order" button in the order header.
- Choose your split mode (Lines / Address / Date).
- For Lines mode: tick the lines to split and set quantities.
- For Address / Date mode: ensure per-line fields are set on the order lines.
- Optionally add an internal note.
- Click Split Now — new order(s) are created and you are redirected automatically.
