Payroll teams spend days each month turning check-in logs into deductions and bonuses — counting late arrivals, weighing overtime differently on weekends and holidays, and arguing over grace periods. Attendance Effects automates the whole calculation: define your policy once, and every employee's lateness, early leave, overtime and absence are computed day-by-day, approved, and pushed straight into a payslip.
Key Features
Four Attendance Effects
Lateness, Early Leave, Overtime and Absence — all defined on a single reusable attendance policy per company, with a unique code and full configurability.
Progressive Penalty Rates
Lateness and early leave escalate by occurrence in the month — 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th+ rates — while absence uses day-range brackets, so repeat offenders are weighted heavier.
Grace & Two Calc Modes
Set an allowed grace period, then compute each penalty as a Fixed Unit (unit × rate) or on Actual Minutes (real minutes × rate) — whichever matches your policy.
Tiered Overtime
Separate minimum threshold and rate for overtime on working days, public holidays and weekends — with an option to bank overtime as leave instead of paying it.
Daily Calculation Sheet
For any period the sheet builds a line per day — day type, planned vs actual shift, and computed lateness, early leave, overtime and absence — then rolls up every total.
Cross-Midnight Shifts
Night shifts that cross midnight (e.g. 22:00 → 06:00) are handled with 24+ time notation, so lateness, early-leave and overtime math stays correct across the day boundary.
Flexible Shifts (Planning)
For employees on dynamic schedules, it reads planned shifts from the Planning module instead of a fixed working schedule — enabled automatically when Planning is installed.
Approval & Payslip
Route each sheet Draft → Manager → HR → Approved, then generate the payslip directly from it. Public holidays and approved time-off are respected automatically.
Batch Processing
Generate attendance-effects sheets for many employees at once through a wizard, grouped under a single batch — so a whole department is processed in one run.
