This app allows your customer / farmer / consumer to create a crop request directly from the website page. Once submitted, the system automatically creates a crop request in the backend and displays the same request to the customer in the 'My Account' portal of your website, ensuring complete transparency and seamless communication.

The primary purpose of this module is to bridge the gap between agricultural service providers and their clients. It provides a user-friendly frontend portal where customers (who own land but lack farming resources) can submit their crop production requests. This eliminates manual data entry by automatically generating the corresponding crop request records in the Odoo backend, ensuring rapid response times and streamlined agricultural order management.

Crop Request Website Create Page

Customers or farmers can easily navigate to the dedicated Crop Request page on the website portal to initiate a new service request. The user-friendly form allows them to capture essential details such as their contact information, specific date ranges, the desired crop (e.g., Sugarcane), and comprehensive text details regarding the agricultural services they need.

Acknowledgement Message to Customer after Submit

Upon successful submission of the crop request form, the system immediately presents the customer with a clear acknowledgement screen. This confirmation page provides a unique, auto-generated Crop Request Number for future tracking and assures the customer that the agricultural team has received their inquiry.

Crop Requests In My Account Portal

Customers can log into their personalized Odoo website account portal to track and manage their interactions. A dedicated "Crop Requests" menu card is automatically available, providing seamless and direct access to all their historical and ongoing agricultural service requests.

By clicking into the Crop Requests menu, customers are presented with a clean, organized list view of all their submitted requests. This overview displays key information at a glance, including the specific request reference number, request name, associated crop type, and the requested start and end dates.

Customers can open any individual crop request from the list to view its full details within the portal. This detailed view displays the status of the request and includes a built-in communication thread (chatter), allowing the customer to easily send messages, ask questions, and communicate directly with the backend agricultural team.

Every crop request submitted from the website is instantly and automatically generated as a structured record in the Odoo backend. The Agriculture team can access this comprehensive form view to review the exact details provided by the customer, assign responsible supervisors, manage dates, and begin processing the request through its lifecycle.
