Enter your SmartShip Token, set measurement units, configure signature requirements, Saturday delivery, driver instructions, and reasons for export.
Select products and customer address details, then click the "Add Shipping" button inside your Sales Order page.
Fetch live rates from FedEx, Purolator, and UPS simultaneously. The module handles transient carrier errors (HTTP 206) gracefully and displays the remaining options.
Click "Use Me" to confirm your carrier selection, adding the shipping charge details to your sales order lines.
Review the shipping charges on the delivery transfer and configure picking-level manual insurance values if necessary before validation.
Put items into Odoo packages. Each package type's dimensions and weights are serialized and transmitted during the shipping request.
Validate the delivery order. Odoo calls the FlagShip API, registers the consignment, retrieves the tracking number, and exposes a cancel button to void the booking if needed.

How does picking-level insurance work?
Instead of setting a global insurance value, operators can declare specific shipment values and content descriptions directly on the delivery picking form. The API transmits these values to confirm coverage details.
How are dynamic references formatted?
The module dynamically generates references. For example, a picking and its parent sales order will be sent to FlagShip as `WH/OUT/0001 / SO001` to ensure ease of identification in your SmartShip dashboard.
How does it handle carrier rate timeouts?
If one of the carriers times out, FlagShip returns a `206` partial response. Our module parses this status code and populates the remaining available couriers inside the comparison wizard instead of blocking execution with error messages.
