Import Employee Photos from Excel

Excel Based Import of Employee Images in Odoo

(With File Path and Web URL Support)

This module enables the import of employee images from an Excel file, supporting both file path and URL based image retrieval.

Main Features:

• Supports importing employee images in .jpg, .png, and .jpeg file formats.
• Requires the xlrd Python library for processing Excel files.
• Provides a wizard based process to create new employees and update existing employee images.
• Allows users to create a new employee through the wizard selection.
• Enables modifying employee images based on the selected employees in the wizard.
• Supports image import using both file path (local directory) and web URL (http/https), with the ability to use both methods in a single import operation.


• Creating Employee Images
  
  • To import images for new employees, select the Employee model and choose the Create Employee operation in the wizard.
  • The Excel file must include columns such as Employee Name, Identification Number, and Image Path.


• Updating Employee Images
  
  • To update images for existing employees, select the Employee model and choose the Update Employee operation in the wizard.
  • The Excel file must include columns such as Employee Name or Identification Number and Image Path.
