POS M-Pesa Payments
STK Push & "Paid to Till" for Odoo 19 Point of Sale
Accept M-Pesa at the till through Safaricom Daraja, Paystack or Flutterwave. The cashier sends an STK push to the customer's phone, or confirms a payment made directly to your Till/Paybill — with automatic confirmation.
Key Features
Two ways to pay
- STK Push (prompt): the customer approves with their M-Pesa PIN.
- Paid to Till (C2B): the customer pays your Till/Paybill directly; the cashier taps the matching payment to confirm (Daraja).
Three gateways, one method
- Safaricom Daraja (direct STK & C2B).
- Paystack mobile money.
- Flutterwave M-Pesa.
Reliable confirmation
- Instant callback/webhook confirmation.
- Status-query polling fallback (works behind a firewall).
- Idempotent: callback and poll never conflict.
Full audit trail
- Every attempt logged as an M-Pesa Transaction.
- Manual "Query status" and stale-transaction cleanup.
- M-Pesa receipt stored on the POS payment line.
Setup
Create a POS payment method, choose M-Pesa (STK Push) as the terminal, pick your gateway and enter its credentials. Full step-by-step instructions for Daraja, Paystack and Flutterwave are included in the module's documentation.
Requires Odoo 19 Point of Sale. Currency: KES.
