Odoo Poll

Users can create a poll directly from the Discuss composer by clicking the Poll button. A dialog window will open where you can enter the question, add multiple options, and choose whether it is a single-choice or multiple-choice poll. Once submitted, the poll will be posted directly inside the conversation thread.

Yes. Users can modify their selected options before the poll is closed. The system prevents duplicate voting and ensures proper validation. Once the poll is closed, voting and vote modifications are no longer allowed.

Poll results are displayed directly within the message thread. Each option shows its vote count and percentage using dynamic progress bars. Results update instantly after voting.

The poll creator (author) has the ability to close or reopen the poll. When a poll is closed, users can no longer vote or change their votes until it is reopened.
