This module simplifies production tracking by allowing shop floor users to instantly log the actual quantities of materials, labour hours, and overhead units used during manufacturing. Instead of relying on static estimates, users use a simple "Shopfloor Wizard" at their specific Work Center to record real-time usage, which then automatically updates both the Work Order and the parent Manufacturing Order. This ensures that your inventory and production logs always reflect the reality of the factory floor, making it easy to see exactly how much was planned versus how much was actually consumed at every step.
Purpose of the Module
The purpose of this module is to give manufacturers true, real-time visibility into actual production costs by capturing what really happens on the shop floor not just what was planned.
Instead of relying only on standard BOM estimates, this module allows operators to record actual material usage, labor hours, and overhead consumption directly at each work order.
All entries are instantly reflected in the Manufacturing Order, inventory, and costing records, ensuring accurate process costing and full traceability across production steps.

Many manufacturers calculate costs based on planned BOMs and routings, but actual production often uses more material, extra labor, or additional machine time. These differences are usually discovered after production is completed, leading to inaccurate costs and delayed decisions.
