Job Sales Estimation Template Module: Materials, Labour & Overhead Breakdown
In this module, we have introduced the "Use Template" button to facilitate the creation of estimation lines in Odoo Sale Estimates. When the "Use Template" button is clicked, a wizard interface is displayed, allowing users to select an appropriate estimate template from predefined options. Within the wizard, a "Create Estimate Lines" button is provided, which, when clicked, generates estimation lines for odoo Sales Estimation based on the selected template. This feature streamlines the process of generating detailed and accurate sale estimates.
Main Features:
- Use Template Button for Creating Estimate Lines A "Use Template" button has been integrated into the Odoo Sale Estimate interface to simplify the creation of estimate lines. This functionality allows users to easily generate cost estimates based on predefined templates.
- Wizard Interface for Template Selection Upon clicking the "Use Template" button, a wizard will be displayed, enabling users to select an appropriate estimate template from a list of available options. This streamlines the template selection process.
- Create Estimate Lines Button Within the wizard, a "Create Estimate Lines" button is provided. When clicked, this button automatically generates estimate lines for odoo Sales Estimates based on the selected template.
- Boolean Option for Retaining Existing Lines
The wizard also includes a boolean checkbox, "Keep Existing Lines", providing additional flexibility:
- If ticked: The existing estimation lines will remain unchanged, and new lines for Estmation Lines will be added to the current lines.
- If not ticked: The existing estimate lines will be removed, and fresh lines for Estimation Lines will be created based on the selected template.
