POS Gift Receipt

POS Gift Receipt extends the standard Odoo Point of Sale by providing a dedicated gift receipt solution for retail businesses. When customers purchase products as gifts, they often require a receipt that confirms the purchase without revealing pricing information. This module allows cashiers to generate clean, professional gift receipts while maintaining the flexibility to include only selected products from an order. The application integrates directly into both the POS Receipt Screen and the POS Ticket Screen, allowing gift receipts to be generated immediately after payment or reprinted later from completed orders without reprocessing the transaction. Users can select individual order lines, organize products into different gift groups using alphabetical identifiers, and print separate gift receipts for each group in a single print job. Each gift receipt contains only essential product information such as product names and quantities while excluding sensitive pricing information including unit prices, discounts, taxes, totals, payment details, and change amounts. The module also generates a unique gift receipt reference for every printed receipt, ensuring traceability and simplifying future verification.
