POS Order Discount

POS Order Discount enhances the standard Odoo Point of Sale functionality by introducing advanced discount capabilities for POS orders. In many retail scenarios, businesses require the ability to apply discounts either to the entire order or to specific products within an order. This module enables both approaches, allowing users to configure and apply discounts based on their operational needs. Users can apply a global discount to the entire POS order by specifying either a percentage or a fixed amount, which is automatically calculated and applied to the total order value. Additionally, the module supports line-level discounts where a discount percentage or amount can be applied individually to each order line. The system also supports combined configurations where both global and line-level discounts are enabled. In such cases, the line-level discount is applied first to the respective products, followed by the global discount applied to the overall order amount. This layered discount structure provides businesses with maximum flexibility for promotions, customer offers, and special pricing strategies. The module integrates seamlessly with the Odoo POS interface and ensures that discounts are properly reflected in order calculations, receipts, and backend POS orders.
