User Guide for Customer Retention Analytics Module
This guide explains the configuration, usage, and management of Customer Retention Analytics in your Odoo system.
1. Module Overview
The Customer Retention Analytics module identifies customers who are slowly disengaging by tracking recent activity in quotations, sales orders, CRM interactions, invoices, and payments. Your team gets clear retention segments â Active, At Risk, Dormant, and Lost â and can start re-engagement before revenue is impacted.
2. Configuration
To configure the Customer Retention Analytics module:
- Install the Customer Retention Analytics module.
- Open the module and go to the Configuration menu.
- Set No Quotation Days, No Sales Order Days, and No CRM Activity Days based on your business rules.
- Define status thresholds for At Risk, Dormant, and Lost classification.
- Save the configuration. Each company can maintain its own retention values in multi-company setups.
3. Refreshing & Reviewing Retention Data
- Click the Refresh action (or wait for the scheduled cron) to calculate and update retention profiles.
- Open the Dashboard to view total customers and segmentation counts at a glance.
- Use chart visuals on the dashboard to identify where follow-up effort is needed first.
- Drill down into the Customer List to inspect last activity date, days since activity, and inactivity flags per customer.
4. Reporting & Export
- PDF Export: Generate full-detail retention reports for management review meetings.
- Excel Export: Export segmented customer data for sales re-engagement planning and audit records.
- Filtering: Filter and group records by retention status, salesperson, or date range for daily operational follow-up.
