Key Features
Show a large diagonal PAID watermark on the PDF the moment an invoice or bill is fully paid
Large diagonal PAID mark
A bold, centred PAID watermark sits diagonally in the background of every page so the document is unmistakably settled at first glance.
Only when fully paid
The mark appears only when the document is fully paid—partial payments, drafts, and unpaid invoices print as usual without the watermark.
Customer invoices & credit notes
Covers customer invoices and customer credit notes so receivable documents share a consistent paid-status look.
Vendor bills & refunds
Also applies to vendor bills and vendor credit notes—the same paid signal across all standard accounting invoice PDFs.
Every page of the PDF
The watermark is rendered on every page of the document, so multi-page invoices stay clearly marked from start to finish.
Automatic on print or email
No extra clicks needed—the watermark is added automatically every time the PDF is printed, downloaded, or emailed from the form.
Removed if status changes
If a payment is later cancelled or unreconciled and the document is no longer fully paid, the watermark is automatically removed from new prints.
No impact on totals
The watermark is purely decorative—it does not change totals, amount due, or any other figure on the document.
Readable underneath
Sized and styled to sit clearly in the background without hiding any line, so all invoice details remain easy to read.

User guide — Invoice PAID Watermark on PDF
Make fully paid invoices unmistakable—a large diagonal PAID mark is added to the PDF the moment the document is settled.
1. What this module does
When an invoice is fully paid, the printed PDF should make it obvious at a glance. This module adds a large diagonal PAID watermark to the centre of the page so anyone receiving the document can immediately tell that no balance is due. The watermark applies to customer invoices, customer credit notes, vendor bills, and vendor credit notes—any document that uses the standard accounting invoice PDF.
2. Before you go live
- Install Accounting (or Invoicing) and this module from Apps.
- No additional configuration is required—the watermark engages automatically as soon as the module is installed.
3. Day-to-day usage
- Register the payment(s) on the invoice or bill as you normally would.
- Once the document reaches the Paid status, simply print or download the PDF (or email it from the form view).
- The PDF will show the PAID watermark across the centre of every page.
- If a payment is later cancelled or unreconciled and the document is no longer fully paid, the watermark is automatically removed from new prints.
4. Good to know
- The watermark is decorative—it does not change totals, the amount due, or any other figure on the document.
- The watermark is sized to remain readable underneath without hiding any line on the invoice.
- Partial payments, drafts, and unpaid documents continue to print as usual without the watermark.
