Step 1: Install the App
Add the module to your Odoo addons path, update the Apps list, search for Chatter Export to PDF, and click Activate. No additional configuration is required.
Step 2: Click the PDF Icon
Open any record that contains a chatter. A new PDF icon appears in the chatter toolbar next to the attachment button. Simply click the icon to export the displayed chatter.
Step 3: Print or Save as PDF
Clicking the PDF icon opens your browser's print preview. From there, you can either print the chatter or choose Save as PDF to download a PDF copy of the conversation.

What does the Chatter Export to PDF app do?
Chatter Export to PDF adds a PDF button directly to the Odoo chatter. With a single click, it opens your browser's print preview so you can print the complete chatter or save it as a PDF. The exported document contains the chatter exactly as it is displayed in Odoo.
Which chatter content will be included?
The app prints the chatter exactly as it appears on the screen, including the visible conversation, messages, log notes, emails, tracking information, and other rendered chatter content available for that record.
Does this app generate a custom PDF report?
No. The module uses your browser's built-in print functionality. Clicking the PDF button opens the print preview, where you can either print the chatter or choose Save as PDF.
Is any configuration required after installation?
