Create Sale Order & Delivery
Start by creating a sale order in Odoo. Once confirmed, a delivery order is generated automatically with PostEx shipping fields ready to use.
Configure & Create PostEx Shipment
Open the delivery order, go to the PostEx Shipping tab to select courier, service type, and payment method. Then click "Create PostEx Shipment" to generate the consignment number via PostEx API.
Shipment Booked & Real-Time Tracking
Once the shipment is created, the status updates to BOOKED with Shipment ID and Tracking Number. Use the Track, Print AWB, and Cancel buttons to manage the shipment. Full tracking history is stored on the delivery order.
Print AWB Label
Generate and download Air Waybill (AWB) labels directly from the delivery order. The label includes all shipping details, barcodes, and courier information ready for printing.
Simple Setup - Get Started in Minutes
Go to Inventory > Configuration > PostEx Configuration. Enter your Client ID, Client Secret, and Company Code from PostEx. Click "Test Connection" to verify. That's it â you're ready to ship!
Warehouse & Courier Settings
Configure your default sender/warehouse address and manage available couriers. Click "Fetch Couriers" to automatically load courier options from PostEx.
Webhook Configuration
Register webhooks for automatic real-time tracking updates from PostEx. Enter your Odoo server's public URL and click "Register Webhook" to enable push-based status notifications.
Product Shipping Dimensions
Set package dimensions (height, width, length) on product templates under the PostEx Shipping tab. These dimensions are automatically used when creating shipments.
