All in One Product Pack
Configure the pack once, sell the parent product everywhere, and let Odoo handle website, POS, sales, delivery, and service execution around the included products.
Overview
All in One Product Pack is designed for bundled offers, kits, assembled products, and commercial packs that must be sold as one item but fulfilled through multiple included products. You define the parent pack once, add the products included in the pack with their quantities, and use the same setup across Sales, Website Shop, Point of Sale, receipts, delivery notes, and backend stock operations without maintaining separate commercial and operational flows.
The customer sees and buys the parent pack product, while Odoo keeps track of the real component products that must be delivered or considered for service-based execution. This keeps pricing, selling, and user-facing documents clean while preserving correct logistics and downstream handling.
Features
- Dedicated Product Pack menu under Sales and an Is a Pack filter in product search.
- Is Product Pack, Calculate Pack Price, and Calculate Pack Cost options on the product form, with the parent pack managed as a consumable item.
- Pack Products tab with product, quantity, and image, including support for service products as pack components.
- Variant creation blocked for pack products with a clear Attributes and Variants notice.
- Website Shop Pack badge and Pack Details modal so buyers can inspect the products included in the pack before purchase.
- POS Pack badge, pack details popup, order line component visibility, and receipt component breakdown.
- Cart and commercial order views keep the parent pack product clean while backend delivery operations expand into the component products.
- Delivery slips show the actual products included in the pack, and service components stay part of the create-on-order flow during sales confirmation.
Configuration
Open Sales > Products > Product Pack, create or edit the parent product, enable Is Product Pack, and add the included products inside Pack Products with their required quantities. If you want the commercial values to follow the bundle automatically, enable Calculate Pack Price and Calculate Pack Cost.
The pack definition becomes the single source of truth. You do not need separate setup logic for website, POS, or delivery once the pack lines are configured correctly on the product.
Functional Flow
Step 1: Create the parent product as a pack and define every included product line with the correct quantity. The pack becomes the customer-facing item that sales teams, website buyers, and POS cashiers will use.
Step 2: Sell the pack from backend quotations, Website Shop, or POS. The frontend can show a Pack badge and a Pack Details popup or modal so users can review the products included in the pack before confirming the sale.
Step 3: Keep the commercial flow clean. The customer-facing cart, order summary, and main sales line continue to use the parent pack product instead of cluttering the selling experience with every included component.
Step 4: When fulfillment starts, the logistics flow switches to the operational products. Stock pickings and delivery slips use the products included in the pack with multiplied quantities based on the ordered pack quantity, so the warehouse delivers the real items rather than the commercial parent.
Step 5: If service products are part of the pack, they remain part of the business flow during sales confirmation so create-on-order logic still works as expected alongside stockable or consumable pack components.
